Beginning on April 30th, 2016, Reunification Hall – the management committee for the Independence Palace – formally launched its Children Center of Kids’ Club, with the aim of  allowing the Palace to offer a more diverse array of experiences and opportunities for historical discovery to young people.

The Kids’ Club is designed to international standards Both modern and highly interactive, the center enhances children’s excitement and interest as they unleash their creativity and engage in self-discovery. All of this in an environment structured around the concept: “learning while playing, playing by learning.”

  • Discovery (For children over 5 years old)

On weekends and during the summer, the Kids’ Club at the Independence Palace historical site gives children the chance to be an artist, unleashing their creativity through drawing, puzzles, coloring, collage-making, and Legos. Or they can explore the Club’s small library with its collection of books and movies about Vietnam, its history and people.

  • Extracurricular activiting (For groups or class)

Topics of the club were set up to link several school subjects to artifacts and the historic values of Independence Palace, in order to support children to vividly perceive, easily remember and we have designed topics of inquiry at the Kids’ Club to link well between certain school subjects and the Palace’s own history, in order to help children better make historical connections. Moreover, kids participate in activities of discovery intended to help forge independence and confidence.
