The recent visit to the Independence Palace historical site by 5th grade students from Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) was part of the “Heritage Discovery” program.
Lasting for 90 minutes, this program offers a unique learning experience that integrates various subjects like history, fine arts, geography, Vietnamese, and civic education. By immersing students in the nation’s important historical events, the program aims to instill patriotism and national pride while encouraging the preservation and promotion of the country’s traditions. Moreover, it provides students with opportunities to showcase their talents, enhance teamwork and problem-solving skills, and improve their abilities in public speaking and product presentation.
We sincerely hope that the Heritage Discovery program provided these children with enjoyable and educational moments spent alongside their friends at the Independence Palace.
