In commemoration of the upcoming 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975–April 30, 2024), the 5th grade students from Khai Minh Primary School, District 1, had the opportunity to engage in experiential learning at the renowned Independence Palace. Through the Heritage Discovery program, which lasted for 90 minutes, the students were immersed in various captivating activities. They listened to captivating stories about Ho Chi Minh’s campaign and gained insights into the significant historical events that unfolded at the Independence Palace on April 30, 1975, through the exhibition of documentary photos and historical artifacts. The Children’s Center provided an engaging conclusion to the program by organizing entertaining games and artistic activities. During this session, the students were given the opportunity to express historical images through the medium of painting.
We sincerely hope that the Heritage Discovery program provided these children with enjoyable and educational moments spent alongside their friends at the Independence Palace.
