On February 16, 2023, the UK Academy International School brought its 5th grader on a field trip at the Independence Palace to study and participate in the “Discovering Heritage” program.
The program includes activities such as observing the artifacts, listening to vivid narratives and taking part in meaningful games of knowledge. The students together had learned about the important historical event of Vietnam that took place on April 30, 1975 and had acquired the skills of collection and observation as well as asking questions to hone their knowledge. They’ve also had grasped the concept of independent and team work, how to present products and public presentation.
The Unification Hall hopes that through these useful activities, the students will furthermore understand about the unique architecture, as well as the cultural values of Vietnam Historical Monument: The Independence Palace. In addition to historical knowledge and skills education, the “Discovering Heritage” learning program also gives the students lessons on morality, gratitude and appreciation for the achievements of building and protecting the country of the “fore-fathers” generation, raising their awareness and will to contribute in order to preserve the traditional culture and historical values of Vietnam.
To accompanied the Education sector to help operate educational activities program for students is the joy and honor of the Unification Hall.
