On the evening of April 6, 2025, at the Independence Palace Historical Relic, the program “The Peace Epic” took place — the first large-scale political-artistic exchange program held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. 
The program was organized by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and People’s Committee, and the Đắk Lắk Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee, in coordination with television broadcasters. It also saw the close collaboration of Military Region 5, Military Region 7, and various agencies and units both inside and outside the military.
The event was held at three locations of special historical significance:
Hanoi (Broadcasting and Television Center Studio of the Army)
Ho Chi Minh City (Independence Palace – Reunification Hall)
Đắk Lắk (Buôn Ma Thuột Victory Monument)
“The Peace Epic” at the Independence Palace Historical Relic emotionally recreated the heroic years of the nation’s resistance through documentaries, combined with impressive artistic performances including chamber music, contemporary dance, live-action performances, 3D mapping light shows, laser displays, smoke effects, fireworks, and graphics.
