On the afternoon of September 12, Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, a member of the Politburo and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, held a meeting at the Unification Hall with Thongloun Sisoulith, the General Secretary and President of Laos. This meeting took place during the state visit of the Laotian leader and his spouse to Vietnam, which was extended at the invitation of General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife.
The Unification Hall serves as a prominent venue that attracts thousands of visitors daily. It functions as a meeting point for the Government and symbolizes peace, cooperation, and friendship. Additionally, it is a site for welcoming high-ranking delegations from the Party and State, as well as for conducting diplomatic ceremonies in the southern region.
